I bought this pair of black geeky specs, for Nic’s cell group thanksgiving – in line with their “Back To School” theme!
Jayvon got his hands … and had some fun with it!

Jayvon at his drums – Daddy’s Christmas present to him!
Oh, and that hat he is wearing?
It is his very first handicraft, made during the playgroup session in church – and he proudly wore the hat the entire day after church that day!
Jay’s mountain…
went though a turmoil early Christmas morning…
which ended in a mess of wrappers…
and created a wonderful mess!
From his favourite – Little Tikes’ Snuggle Bug…
To musical instruments…
To books…
To more of his favourite puzzles!
Thanks to the many uncles and aunties who has given fantastic presents to Jay!
Merry merry Christmas!
Today has been such a fun day for Jay & the family… so much happened, and it’s way too late to blog about it now, and having to wake up way to early tomorrow.
Just wanted to leave this photo…
Of Jay’s present mountain.
Literally.
Like I said… his present (current) present (gift) mountain!
He is one blessed toddler! And this ain’t the last of it, with a few friends yet to pass us their presents for Jay!
Present count to date: 29!
It can be such a headache organizing kids’ birthday parties.
But Serene did a rockin’ job with her son Julian’s 4th birthday party at The Polliwogs! Jayvon was invited, and we were excited to go!
Here’s a look at their facilities…
A huge outdoor pirate ship bouncy! (Jay loves these bouncies, but didn’t get the chance to hop on this time)
And a big indoor play area as well!
In the party room, all the parents and kids waiting for the party to begin!
The hardcore bloggers that we are… Meet the Tays!
And the games begin! Meet Daddy Ivan and Daddy Robin, who were game enough to, well… play the game! And the game was really fun… but Jayvon’s not at the age to really play well with others. So… He wandered off and discovered the buffet line.
Here’s Jay, enjoying his yummy fried noodles and apple juice… while the party was going on. He was so unaffected by the ‘noise’!
When it came to the cake-cutting time, I dragged Jay over see this gorgeous (and very yummy) cake! Here’s Jules with his daddy! Every kid was crowding over this cake, and couldn’t stop pointing at it!
And at the end, it was present time… from the birthday boy to every child!
Serene prepared INDIVIDUAL gifts for each kid! Talk about excellence!
After the party, it was back to the playground! And the kids had a blast!
Thanks for the invite, Serene! Jay & I had such a fun time!
Mommy and Daddy have been trying to find a nice water gun for me for the looooongest time. We’ve been to the toy section at Takashimaya, Bugis Junction, Parkway Isetan, and no water guns for sale at those places!
So yesterday, Mommy brought me to the Toys ‘R’ Us store at Tampines Mall.
And ta-da!
Meet my new toy! It would be great to use at the Marina Barrage! Whoo-hoo!
And while we were there, Mommy also bought me a brand new jigsaw puzzle set! Yay!
I finally submitted all the necessary documents…
And Jayvon is officially enrolled into Little Big Creativity Centre!
YAY!
I am so happy he is moving on to the next phase in his life, and come March/April 2010, he will start a full-day course in Pre-Nursery. Why only March/April? Well, cos we’ll be shifting to Marine Parade, and we will probably only shift in around then. So we don’t want there to be TOO many changes for Jayvon in terms of waking up and going to school, and so we decided to just wing in, and bring him to Suntec Nursery for a little while longer.
I brought him to the school compound, and he was excited to see all the balls, and toys, and tricycles, and the huge slide that they have there.
I am so looking forward to next year!
Nic and his cell members went to celebrate Gina’s birthday, and I brought Jayvon along as well!
It started peaceably enough, but soon…
My boy bawling his eyes out, cos he was ‘bullied’ by one of the uncles. The crime: the uncle was trying to make funny faces at him! My drama-mama boy!
But he soon cheered up enough, at the thought of chocolate ice-cream and french fries!
And it was a yummy-licious dinner for Jayvon. For his main course, he enjoyed Chicken Bolognaise Spaghetti.
… then ate the skin off our Fried Calamari…
And topped it off with some Fried Chicken!
A delicious meal indeed!
