Techno-smarts

14 03 2010

Technology can be such a cool thing! And in Little Big, Jay and his classmates had the chance to see the SmartBoard for the very first time… And they were totally enthralled!

Plus scribbles are allowed on this “wall”! Haha!

Awesome what kids are exposed to nowadays.

Fun at Little Big!

What an awesome first week of school Jayvon had at Little Big Creativity Centre!

Some one asked me what he would learn in school.

Hmm… he is a two-year old, ya know! It’s 75% learning through PLAY, and boy oh boy, there was a lot of playtime!

A New Year… And A New School!

13 01 2010

After ding-donging for the longest time, Nic & I finally went down to Little Big Creativity Centre this afternoon to officially register Jayvon and settle all the payments and deposit. And while we were there, we spotted a few familiar faces – and we’re glad Jay will be schooling there!

Originally we wanted to start Jayvon after we shift to our new place, but we decided to “acclimatize” him and will be sending him for 3 days a week, starting in mid-February.

Our little boy is really growing up!

We are at once anxious and excited! Woohoo!

A New Era

1 12 2009

I finally submitted all the necessary documents…

And Jayvon is officially enrolled into Little Big Creativity Centre!

YAY!

I am so happy he is moving on to the next phase in his life, and come March/April 2010, he will start a full-day course in Pre-Nursery. Why only March/April? Well, cos we’ll be shifting to Marine Parade, and we will probably only shift in around then. So we don’t want there to be TOO many changes for Jayvon in terms of waking up and going to school, and so we decided to just wing in, and bring him to Suntec Nursery for a little while longer.

I brought him to the school compound, and he was excited to see all the balls, and toys, and tricycles, and the huge slide that they have there.

I am so looking forward to next year!
